I'm mad, not sad. They should've known long ago when the game was going to be done. They even made WWHD to test the waters on HD development. They showed a trailer last year, and showed gameplay in December. And now... we'll have nothing for around 7 months until a holiday Direct to talk about 2016 games.

And that in the optimistic case Nintendo decides to show it at a Direct and not wait until E3 2016.

It's a shitty situation, but what can you do? Nintendo clearly didn't realize what they were in for with HD development.

At least we still have Xenoblade. I'll find solace in the fact that I'm going to get a giant, open world JRPG that I can sink hundreds of hours into. And then I can play chunks of Splatoon and Star Fox in between. There are still so many games coming out this year, all this delay did was give me momentary sadness and my wallet a small relief come this holiday.
