Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Why are people hoping that publishers make Third-Party games on Wii U?

This question is serious. Why are people hoping that publishers make Third-Party games on WIi U?
Nintendo's target group are kids (whether you like it or not) and games like GTA, Call of Duty or Battlefield don't sell on a platform for kids. -> This has been proofed by all Third-Party games on Wii U! Only sport games (and suchlike) can sell something on a Nintendo platform. And why would people buy these games on a Nintendo console? Nintendo consoles are often just the second console of the gamers. -> The most people who own a Wii U should also have a Playstation platform, Xbox platform or a PC. The Nintendo console version is mostly a bad port with lots of bugs and where nobody plays online.

Cause double-partying isn't enough!

You want 3rd party games get a ps4 or xbox one you want nintendo games get a wii u.... I thought this was obvious already

Nintendo's demographic aren't necessary kids. Give an 8 year old Fire Emblem Awakening on Lunatic+ and then we'll talk

Because with 3rd parties, it will widen the range to not only kids....

Therefore more sales.

Triple party? What?

Because the awesome games they get on the Wii U aren't enough? They want an all in one, catch everything machine. It could just be lack of $ and that they don't want to buy a second console or PC.

"why do people want more games?"

Well gee, I wonder...

We want to play games made by nintendo in addition to 3rd party games. We don't want to have to own 2 or more consoles. I don't expect that to ever happen though. It would be awesome, however.
