From Software’s 17-Year-Old PSone Game Shadow Tower Coming To PSN

Pretty much everything From Software has done since 2009’s Demon’s Souls has been gold, but it’s easy to forget that they have been around for a lot longer than that. In fact, they’ve been around since the PSone days and one of their earliest titles will now be coming to PSN.

The game is called Shadow Tower and has you control a mercenary who has returned home to the holy land of Zeptar only to find that it has been sucked into the Underworld. Thus, you must clear out the evil forces in this dark and brooding first-person action RPG.

A release date for the game has not yet been revealed, though we do know that it is coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

The atmosphere looks great and plays like oldies PS1 games. Will surely try it at last.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

GREAT news. Now, please upload the King's Field games too. Pretty please.

Cashing in on the BB hype,eh? ;)

This is good.

I hope they keep porting more games from ps1/ps2, especially from 2nd party (looking at level 5 ps2 era)

Looks like your usual Steam Greenlight game, except that it was also actually made in the PS1 era and doesn't just look like it.

I hope they release the King's Field games too. My PC can't run King's Field 2 and 3...

Still this is great news!

They even forgot to add the music and the loading times are horrible.

But it's probably a great game, you just lack the superior quality standards to understand it's appeal.
