Forums - Politics Discussion - Indiana Governer signs bill allowing businesses to reject gay customers.

Question folks. What happens when you put church and state in the same room to make decisions which affect people? Discrimination. Chick Fil-A must be jumping for joy and preparing to have more locations in Indiana.  YAY for religion alienating more people that it doesnt agree with.

IMO you should be able to reject whoever you want as customers. Doesn't mean I have to shop there though (I wouldn't shop at a place that denied gay/minority/females/different religious people for example).

why would any gay person want to life in indiana?

As a business owner, you should be able to reject anyone you wish, at your own peril.

In a perfect world.

No, you can't. You have to have an actual reason (they're disturbing customers, destroying property, etc). And that reason can't be because of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. That pesky Civil Rights act gets in the way of that.

I'm from Indiana. Fuck this law

Religion pushes society back. It always has and always will. Society's progress has always occured outside of religion, but some people need it to get through the day, so I digress with that.

Well, yes. He probably meant that like I did in my post. It shouldn't have to be typed. You should be able to refuse anyone, with a reason.

Disgusting, I don´t even understand how this kind of things keep happening on the US...
