It looks like Diablo with a lot less going on in the game during the fighting. I would buy it for $20.

Its more in the line of older pc rpgs like Icewind Dale and Baldurs Gate and newer titles like Pillars Of Eternity. They are just a different kind of rpg from another time that look to be making a comeback. Alot deeper then games like Diablo.

That's for damn sure. Diablo III was a complete bore. Story was boring and trite, characters were shallow, combat was tedious. I'll take this game (and Pillars of Eternity) over Diablo any day.

3 hyped games that were my biggest let downs once I finally got around to playing them: Elder Scrolls, OoT and Diablo.

The one thing that worries me with Sword Coast is this shared story-telling thing. I hope the pre-scripted campaign is comparable to BGII. It's what make Pillars of Eternity seem more interesting to me than this game as Pillars seems to have really caught the BG vibe.

I am liking the 1-4 player option, which is not in Pillars. My borhter and I had a lot of fun playing Icewind Dale together.

With Pillars just released, then this and Numenera later in 2015, this year is dream come true for all the fans of original Infinity engine era of cRPGs.

I thought this was going to be the new IE game beamdog were working on after finishing the enhanced editions. From what i have heard of that one it is set inbetween Sword Coast and BG2 but this appears to be a different game on the same engine used in D:OS.First i have heard of it but it looks great.
