So, after finding out that a range of youtubers managed to play the multiplayer and campaign of Splatoon, and posted videos, it felt only natural to watch some of the gameplay they provided. But a trend I saw was that the game looked amazing, and also looked very fun to play. But when I went over to Gamexplain's gameplay videos, they confirmed the game was running at a "Rock-solid 60fps", and on some of their other gameplay videos their titles and descriptions stated that their gameplay was all in 1080p 60fps (I know, its probably just the Youtube video), so it is confirmed Splatoon is actually running at that, that actually wouldn't come as much of a a surprise taking into account how the game looks. But it got me thinking, if this is actually the case, then what does that say about some of Nintendo's upcoming Wii U titles? If Splatoon is running at 1080p 60fps, then certainly i can see Yoshi's Wooly World doing that as well, which, in my opinion, would be pretty cool to see.
Anyways, if how Splatoon runs is already confirmed, I just wrote this for nothing, but please tell me what you think about it, and how it could show how future games might be shaping up graphically. But thanks for reading! :P
