Me and some friends got together last night to hang out.  Not specifically to record, but I'm glad I did.  But, it made me curious if anyone here had friends they played with locally.  If not, why not?   I have about 8+ friends who all play fighting games, and I'm near the bottom, when it comes to who's the best overall.

There are times when they get on my nerves, but overall, they're a good bunch.  They don't complain, or get too mad about losing. (Even if I'm spamming).  

But what are your group of friends like?  [Do you have any? :( ]  What types of games do you play together?

I still do! SSB4 + 8 players = chaotic

When I have friends over then I do.

I do not play video games with people that I do not know. Not really sure why or how i got to this point. Local multi player only for me.

I love playing local multiplayer! I play Super Smash Bros and Tales of games that way. It's lots of fun and way better than online multiplayer.

Is there any other way?.... lol.

I do, because college.

I do all the time. We play all kinds of games. Classics, new stuff, party games, beat em ups.... well, everything except shooters... Wait! I'm wrong. We played Goldeneye just a couple months ago. One of my best friends and his partner have a wicked catalogue of games for pretty much every system so we work through lots of them depending how many people there are. Smash Wii U is actually a great game for parties now, and MP10 is infuriating when someone is Bowser lol. 

Other friends of mine often pull out systems for rock band and the like for group parties mixed with table top games. It's odd, seems since I hit my 30's my wife and I are more likely to go to stuff like this. Think it has to do with the ability to do so and not being caught up with what some people think. Hard to say entirely. 

I guess meant to say I don't make plans to get together to play. They'll just come over and while we're waiting to go out or something we'll play local multiplayer.
