Absolutely deserved. One of the best new IP of last gen. They took the first-person shooter and made something different and fun with it. The RPG elements, semi-open world, loot collecting, unique art style, and humor all make the series a blast to play. Easily one of my favorite franchises now. Can't wait for Borderlands 3.
