Forums - Politics Discussion - Jeremy Clarkson dropped from Top Gear, BBC confirms

Its a shame his gone, the show wont be the same without him, but to be fair he did hit someone over something so stupid and he shouldnt go unpunished. I wish their was a way he could come back for the last three episodes to have a proper send off.

And that was the end of topgear, at least I hope it is, the show doesn't deserve a similar fate to two and a half men.
Jeremy getting fired is a shame since his unbiased, not political correct, sexist, racist opinions where downright funny.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Wow, so the 1 million signature position, delivered by a tank to BBC's offices, did absolutely nothing? You really suck BBC. One of your two best shows (imo), pretty much dead now thanks to a simple brawl. I just can't see James and Richard maintaining ratings without him, they are both pretty funny but Jeremy was the lifeblood of the show.

What's the other one?

The Inbetweeners. Mr Bean. Monty Python. Ah nvm they're all over now :(

Why are people defending Clarkson? He beat up a guy FFS...

He was with the BBC for decades, turned himself in and the guy who got hit seemed to want to work it out too so this could have been solved in a much better way.

LOOOOL

In what world do you hit your boss and keep your job? Just because y'all like him it doesn't mean he is above  anyone else. Considering this isn't the first time he's been in trouble, everyone blaming the BBC really need to  stop and think for a second. Its sends a terrible message out to the world if you let someone be dick and get away with no repercussions just because they're entertaining to watch. It may be a shame and I'm sure the BBC hated that it came to this but its only fair, no one to blame but him.

At least he went out with a bang.

Yep, those were all good shows as well. Also Keeping Up Appearances was really good, which has been over for a long time now. All BBC has left for me now is Sherlock.

The IT Crowd is another one I like

Welp, looks like I won't be watching Top Gear anymore.

What a bunch of morons.

They're inflicting a massive hit on their wallet over a little punch (Boohoo a swollen lip is it?) and some swearing. Directed at an assistant producer no less. No offense to him, but he's a nobody in this equation. If it had been one of Clarkson's co-hosts or the head producer or something of that nature ya, you have a problem, but an assistant producer? Who the fuck cares? I'd have sooner replaced that guy than Clarkson.

Well no more BBC watching then.
