What do you thing about Fighting Games(genre)? and what is your favorite?

hmm of all time? Probably the Samurai Showdown series. I love the characters, and the way they placed such focus on countering different attack strengths with different countering strengths due to timing and recovery lengths of said attacks.  They mastered the timings in a way I get much more enjoyment from than say Street FIghter, Mortal Kombat, or Virtua Fighter.  That being said those are all good games as well.  Eternal Champions would be right up there too.  Of all fighting games I feel EC needs a reboot or remake the most.  Way underrated game.

Not really a fan of fighting games but my vote goes to Smash Bros for being awesome.

Powerstone 2 on the Dreamcast simply because it was great fun to play. Even if there was no one to play against it was still really fun playing against the cpu players.

Super Smash Bros.

It's the only fighting game where you can have popular faces like Mario and Pikachu fight obscure faces like Marth and Shulk.

Fighting games are fun to learn combo moves and use them to decimate your opponents! >: ) And playing as cool/cute characters is really fun. I love many of the old school 2D fighters and some 3D fighters too.

My favorite fighter I would say is Smash. Something about it is really fun to play and it`s easy to get into : ) I do like the KoF games, as well as, Power Stone, Samurai Showdown, the Last Blade, Guilty Gear, Soul Calibur, Melty Blood, and more. : )

Dead or Alive is surprisingly deep (hehe innuendo). Tekken 3 is still one of my favorite games of all time. But....... I'm going to have to go with Smash Bros on this one. I spent so much time on SSBB it's not even funny

Super Smash Bros. its not just a normal fighting game. its not about mastering combos. you need to perfectly execute attacks and strategies in order to find a way to win. the characters arent from a single series, but from every fan loved nintendo franchise. its so crazy and can either be a ballistic party game or the most precise fighting game ever depending on the play style.

Smash Bros cause its the most fun for me. DoA is after cause of the jiggle physics

The two I've had more fun with are Smash Bros and Injustice: God Among Us. Depending on the mood, the award goes to one of those two.
