Anecdotal evidence is only anecdotal though. I live in the UK and from what I've seen there is a big interest in Xbox still (not as much as PS4, but still a good amount).


As i said,it's based on what i hear,and can not be used as proof in any way.

I don't have the time to read through the thread to see if these were brought up, but here we go.

Combined, they equal 3.3 million as of January 24th.

Also Xbox One + PS4 = .7m (700k) in Spain as of the same end date, and is also stated on the same page as 3.3 million.

1.7 + 1.3 = Both overtracked ~200k in UK (PS4 needs to put these 200k in other region while Xbone we don't know)

3m combined is just to low
3.2 - 3.4m is the right figure (what is technically more than 3m ofc )

 

and that can easily be 1.4 - 1.5m xb1 and 1.7 - 1.9m ps4

No. The article is wrong... it didn't quoted the right number.

3.3m means less than 3.4m.

Now VGC can be right or even undertracked.

You do know that all this thread is based on speculation,based on numbers from Game right? We know it's 3 to 3.3 million XBO/PS4 sold combined. Which means none of us know the exact numbers,which means it boils down to what you or me belive would be the correct numbers between those 2. So no need for childish insults,just because i don't BELIVE the same as you! GOT IT??

You were wrong by assuming everyone rounds numbers the same way, because clearly whoever wrote the article does it differently to you.

The article is cleary wrong... it is not 3 million and it is not for the end of January.

It is 3.3m for January 24th... one week before the end of January.

I use what is reported... if the article used the wrong and the wrong week it is their fault... not mine.

VGC PS4: 1,887,512
VGC Xbone: 1,508,981

That give us 3.39m... on spot or maybe just a little over.
