3D World and Bayo 2 look nice but they're not head and shoulders beyond the top tier PS3/360 games.
They basically look like what you'd expect ... games that are running on a system that might have about 40% more GFLOPS than a 360 with double the RAM. In fact they're pretty much exactly the performance/look I'd expect if you told be "well what do you think a system that was 100 GFLOPS more powerful than a 360 with double the RAM would look like?".
Bayonetta 2/3D World is pretty much what I'd expect.
DKC is nothing special, nice art style but it looks like a Wii game on steroids, not sure why they couldn't get that to run at 1080P.

Just forget that.

Why should I? You're acting like Nintendo deserves a trophy for having a system that has maybe 4 games total that look better than a good looking 360 game.
The Wii U actually is fairly lame hardware wise ... it's 7 (SEVEN!!) years newer than an XBox 360, this shouldn't even be a debate it should *murder* the XBox 360. The bar should be much higher we're just soft on Nintendo because it's "oh, lol Nintendo gonna Nintendo".
They get a pass because they're the weird/quirky one, but if Sony had released this same system people would be crying bloody murder at how much of a relative non-upgrade it is from the existing gen. They would get eaten alive for releasing such a console.
3D World, Bayo 2 ... nah. Should've been a 1TFLOP hardware system at minimum. Game Pad should've been an optional accessorie like the Wii Fit balance board.
No one gives a crap about remote play, not even Japan is buying the thing for that feature.
They would've been better off just taking a off the shelf cheapo GPU like a 6670, adding some eDRAM to it. Would've had far better performance for about the same price (would've had to sacrifice on size/electrical consumption but who cares).
