Somewhere in the forbidden woods is the deep sea caryll rune that grants a huge boost to frenzy resistance.  You still need to be careful around those frenzy-singing bitches, but if you are quick you can take them out before the frenzy recks you, or at the very least you won't have to suck down sedatives every other second to survive.

There are also a bunch of places off the beaten path that can be hard to find if you'd rather, like the upper cathedral and Cainhurst.

Longarius is highly parryable, since he swings so much it's easy to parry him when you close in, also shooting him will sometimes stop his attack and cause him to dash to the side also use the little rooftop pillars if you have trouble creating space and also use the pillars again when he uses the shooting sword magic

man the cursed dungeon....it kicked my ass hard but.....I AM VICTORIOUS!!!

just got all the materials for the Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice, will tackle it tomorrow

Darkbeast Paarl is New game plus is a fucking bitch to deal with, pardon my language. But i mean, he's just so ridiculously powerful and mobile plus the shitty camera work and targeting system on that particular boss is so dumb.

Don't target, use Hand Axe extended with R2 attack. 

That seems to have been the best strategy. Although my hand axe was not upgraded a whole lot, it was much easier than doing it with the great sword.

also got invaded for the first time yesterday in Nightmare of Mensis(for the life of me I could not find the bell-ringing woman)

i just used the bloodborne tropy guide page, here's a snipppet:

Yharnam, Blood Queen of the Old Labyrinth is the layer three boss of the fifth Pthumeru chalice dungeon. In theory, this means that you "only" have to complete five chalice dungeons, for a total of sixteen layers (and sixteen bosses!) to earn this trophy. In practice, however, you will have to re-play some of the dungeons multiple times in order to farm the items that are needed to create the higher-level chalice dungeons. The chalices that you absolutely have to use to create the dungeons are (in order):

• Pthumeru Chalice (3 layers)
• Central Pthumeru Chalice (3 layers)
• Lower Pthumeru Chalice (4 layers)
• Ailing Loren Chalice (you need to find two "Bastard or Loran" items, needed to create the next dungeon - you could find these as early as the first layer, or much later, but play at least until you find the Beast Claw weapon in Layer 2)
• Defiled Chalice (3 layers - you have half HP throughout this dungeon, which makes the bosses *brutal*)
• Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice (3 layers, Yharnam, Blood Queen of the Old Labyrinth is at the bottom)
