How do I get to Vicar Amelia, and how do I get the password? Do I have to beat that boss before I get the password? I hate that this game doesn't give you any type of direction on where to go.

Once you beat the Vicar, you get the password, yep. As for how you get TO the Vicar, you buy the 10,000 blood echos key from the fountain merchant, go to the Cathedral area, then head south and then up the small staircase that leads to the creepy giant skeleton monster. Either kill him or avoid him to get up the larger staircase near him, at which point you'll reach a set of gates, that the key will open. Once you pass through the key, go left and...

....to be honest, this is actually REALLY complicated. u_u Depending on how far along the route you already found, there's likely going to be too many lefts and rights to communicate effectively, you might be better off watching a walkthrough video.

Or It Involves Moving Furniture, in Which Case Zanten, F*** You.

On a separate note, to anyone who beats the Vicar, go back to the starting zone and knock on one of the NPC doors near the lynching bonfire mob, the ones that tell you to bugger off normally. Assuming your experience is like mine, an interesting little side diversion that I won't spoil will pop up. =D

I actually just found her a minute ago before reading your post, and died in under a minute.

This was 27 hours the other day, which I found suspicious but now it's down to 24 and half hours. The shortest time I've seen mentioned was 40 hours and the longest was 60 hours. Either someone has just run through and missed lots of content or it's another case of trolling the site.

I mean, come on: 28h 45m for a leisurely playthrough? And 22 hours for a rushed? I don't believe it.

The PS5 Exists.

Man I love the Souls games but I´m just not digging this one for some reason.

So whats the deal with the unseen village area where you wake up after getting killed by the tall dude with a blood bag? It was by far the hardest area for me so far and now that i warped out of it, i cant seem to go back there to explore further?

Anyone knows what this is all about?

Blood Starved Beast? That boss fucked me like 6 times and everytime it got harder because I didn't have vials and antidotes anymore lol. Eventually I decided to get some echos and bought vials and antidotes and won.

Yes, that SOB and his poisonous multi hit attack and grab attack.

He's actually quite easy. I found that rolling or evading into his direction when he's about start his combo works 90% of the time. You just gotta roll towards him every time hes about to attack

Btw, is he (Blood Starved Beast) really the 3rd boss in the 'correct' order (if there´s even such a thing)?

In discussions about this game, everyone keeps saying he´s supposed to be the 3rd boss, but is he really, difficulty wise?

yes, he is much easier than Vicar. Also, once you beat him the elevator near the Cathedral WP is active..... Use the elevator to find Ludwig's Greatsword(in a chest). Its the 1st weapon I found that feels like a major upgrade to the starting weapons (Kirkhammer was better in most situations, but it does not dominate the starter weapons)

Ehh...not in my experience, I defeated Vicar on my first attempt yet keep losing to BSB over and over, but apparently you can use an item to distract him so you can get a few good hits, gonna try that.

when he telegraphs he attack roll behind him. Once he goes into PH2 use firepaper and do the same thing. And yes if you through the blood bottle he will run to it and let you smack him around and if you have fire on your weapon do this 2 times(in PH2) and he is dead.

I did not like vicar at all. Maybe I was missing something. It was the 1st time I used my bell.
