BF being the best seller for this year means good things for it. if it did better than Dying light, which sold 1.2m worldwide week one, means good things for BF. if its success is similar to the UK in other countries.

It seems as if Amazon actually gives us a decent indication of software between the platforms too:

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

PS4 (78%)

Resident Evil Revelations 2

We knew it would be a huge gap. I know this is the UK and the Amazon we use is the US but both of these regions are pretty well matched. We're going to get a similar result in the US.

Biggest software release of the year so far should hopefully mean a decent hardware boost as well

The Order actually went up 6 places ont he all formats chart. So a very good result really.

So am I reading the commentary right? BFH is the highest selling one week software for 2015. Meaning no single week in 2015 so far had a game that sold more than BFH did last week? Obviously this won't last, but it's a good result for BFH and suggests on a global basis this game might not flop like some people are predicting. It probably still did less than 100K, but it probably did better than 60K

So hardline on ps4 has opened very well in japan and the UK. Also good ps3 version sales in Japan. It's combined total for week 1 will be good. Good news for me. It's legs probably won't be great but once it sells enough for visceral to live on that's good enough for me.

The order holding well and I'm happy to see black flag beating unity. Deserved.

Final fantasy opens well on ps4 and gta 5 beasting.

The ps4 winstreak seems to continue. Is it almost 4 months now?

He is incorrect. 1.2 million was the number of players in the first week, which really gives us no clue about sales.
