Sony is big in Japan again :D time to end the nintendomnation (except for 3ds) and catch up with the Wii U in no time.

400k would only (currently) be as much as Ishin and Deal Souls. Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 have sold about 600k a piece.

I had no idea Battlefield was even remotely popular in Japan though. That does put a slightly different spin on things. Should be interesting to see what sort of numbers Famitsu/MM post ^^

Yeah 4g vita slim would do well.  Its funny how sony have 3 succesful platforms going at once in japan.  

Regarding the chart hardline seems to have done well and japan will contribute nicely to the first week sales WW.

Final Fantasy Type-Bomba, this is very bad to be doing worse than Battlefield, especially considering it has a demo to one of Japan's most wanted games.

Judging by the barren release schedule on WiiU/3DS, that might happen sooner than we think. At some point Nintendo will eventually lose to the waves of 3rd party PS games.

OT Type-0 PSP sold over 800K so Type-0 HD is just pocket money to SE. There is no drama here. All it means is that BFH performed too well for what it is. i'm more concerned with the PS4 version of RE Rev 2 : that didn't do OK at all. Same goes for Yakuza 0. Japanese publishers MUST stop PS3 versions ASAP if they want the home console market to have some future.

Looks like people didn't want the Etrian Odyssey restock that badly...

For a corporation of that size yes they do need to worry because I doubt publishing COD will keep them afloat when Activsion gets the majority of the cut ...
