I really don't see what's good about it. The plot so far (4 episodes) is very pedestrian and forgettable. Characters, other than Matt Murdock, are very flat. Fight choregraphy are worthy of TDKR (this is not a good thing). If not the love for Marvel and the MCU, then it must be the hype.

But then again, people like The Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls or 2 and a half men so I suppose there is an audience for everything.

Where is Ben Affleck? He was the definitive Daredevil!

Thank you, I thought the point I was making was obvious. Apparently not.

He actually feels far more bad ass to me as the lack of effects give weight to the blows.  Keep in mind this is "Year 1" stuff as he isn't even Daredevil to start. I like that he makes mistakes, things go wrong and he gets wounded.  My guess is as the show goes the stakes will get higher and he'll evolve and improve as a hero.

Do I need to watch any other shows before I watch Daredevil? I know that the universe tends to intermingle a lot and I plan to watch most of the Marvel shows at some point, but I don't know where to start...

the netflix costume is so much better than Affleck's. And I'm not talking about that rag he uses in his head. And yes, this show is amazing. Deal with it
