Just saw this amazing video. While watching I couldnt deal with the "onions" that were causing water in my eyes. I hope you guys like it.

It didnt make me tear up. I like the video that shows people getting their hearing back/for the first time more. This was a good video though

Well, it seems like this is not for the color blind per se (which would be people with dichromacy or monochromacy, who lack certain retinal cones altogether) but those with anomalous trichromacy.

However, anomalous trichromacy is the most common form of color vision deficiency, so yeah, great for them. This is actually pretty clever, even though in essence it's actually only some very selective dark glasses.

Very cool. Another interesting thing came to mind. My university had an artist and professor who was colorblind, apparently he was quite successful in abstract art. I would be interested in knowing how people with colorblindness would perceive his work, the use of contrast and form, compared to how I see the works.

Beautifull. I can´t even understand their feelings watching a color for the first time...

This is really misleading. There are not 300 million people in the world that see everything in shades of grey. Almost all of those people just have varying levels of color weakness, which sometimes means that certain colors kind of look the same. I'm pretty bad with color, and you would say I'm "colorblind," but everything isn't like a freaking black and white movie. That type of person is really rare.

I wonder what it would look like to use the glasses without a colour defeciency... would reds & green be even more vibrant than usual or would it mess things up (in other words what exactly are the glasses doing to the light to enhance the difference between wavelengths)

This kind of videos that make me, grateful to God, even i am not a rich person like bill gates, i am able to breath an oxygen without any help, and enjoying colorful world with my normal eyes.

That's pretty cool. I can faintly understand. The whole world is various degrees of blurriness to me. When I put my glasses on, it's just not as blurry. I always wondered what the world would look with 20/20 eyes.

Wait, this is possible now? That's great.
