Played Forza Horizon 2 at Target today and it was visually stunning. Driving through the fields was just amazing.

Forza 5 is a nice looking game and people tend to ignore that.

I was at a store and they had a demo of Forza 5 next to a demo of Driveclub. Frankly, Forza 5 was more visually appealing and double the frame rate helped. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do with Forza 6 and hopefully maintaining 1080p/60 fps.

Was the version of Drive Club not patched or something, because now Drive Club is in a leage of it's own visually.

I'm not saying Driveclub isn't a superior looking game, I'm saying if you aren't looking for the nuances Forza 5 is more visually appealing.

The tracks in Forza 5 are more visually appealing, the cars look fantastic, and 60 fps is a huge edge. Driveclub is a fine looking game but I don't think that game looks as great as people boast, especially for 30 fps.

Is Ori in native 1080p? In that case I would pick that game, the art style and clarity of the imagery is simply amazing. Otherwise, Forza Horizon 2.

What is Ori ?

Them's fighting words!

I think this is the first time I've ever heard someone call Forza 5 more visually appealing than Driveclub...

Well its kinda like Mario Kart. Other games are technically more impressive, but its a fantastic looking game.

A technically inferior game can still be more visually appealing.

I'm early into it but Horizon 2 looks amazing. Not just the graphics but the open world design, which makes it all the more impressive imho.

Ah, yeah I totally get that. Plus, 60fps counts for a lot with me too, especially in racers.

its very possible that the store kiosk did not download what is now a 9gb patch. And if its a demo from before it launched then it absolutely would not have the added effects.

That must be it. I just booted both up on my TV, switching back and forth and for the life of me can't fathom how someone could think Forza 5 looks better. Then again this really isn't the same game it was at launch, so if people have only seen/played an unpatched demo...they are missing out.

I still stand by my inital vote for Forza Horizon 2.

I guess I have to go with Forza Horizon 2 also even though the overall car models look slightly better in Forza 5 and Forza 6 will easily look better then Forza Horizon 2.
