Unfortunately, the only news we're going to see for a while is the joint press release koj and konami released today.

Kojima said something along the lines of him being committed to this metal gear to make it the greatest game he has made up to this point. Nothing was said about Silent Hills.

However, since MGS5 releases this year (sept 1), there are going to be three more months until december for him to work on other things. It's possible that he'll be working on Silent Hills until then. Guillermo del Toro is supposedly the lead director in charge of the game, so it's also possible that it can continue without Koj. Hard to say whether or not the creativity Kojima lends to his games will be apparent.

Changing the title to get more views are we?

i'm more interested in zoe but silent hill is nice too. metal gear on the other hand should have be ended with 4. 

I mean, my initial reaction is to say you're reaching big time, but I wouldn't be all that surprised. Sakaguchi was given an easy out to work on his true passion, it may be time for Kojima to cut his ties.

except the for MG series being there bread and butter everything else is legit. IMHO it was only till about the PS2 era where that was the case, as a company Konami doesnt seem to do anything else except Silent Hill and that soccer game and they dont exactly bring in the money.
