Even though Rod said it's not coming, I still think it is! I think each game will be remastered but it won't be a collection. They will sell each game separetly on Xbox One. 30 dollars a game.

Rod said Black Tusk is working on a few Gears of War projects, why would they do that? They want to release all the old games on a newer platform simutaneously. As well as tease Gears of War 4.

Just my thoughts, what are yours?

It's certainly a possible theory, bit weird but possible. Even if no remaster of any kind is in the works currently it'll probably still come eventually.

I can't think what other Gears projects would be in the work now, other than some kind of arcade title perhaps, like Halo Spartan Assualt.

My guess those several Gears projects are Windows Phone games like Halo Spartan Assault, along with the inevitable PC version of new Gears.
And maybe there will still be a Marcus Fenix Collection, but not for XOne - for Windows 10. It would be a great addition to the PC collection, as only the first one was made for it. And that Collection could be exclusive to their Windows store, attempting to entice gamers away from Steam.

If it was being made I doubt Microsoft would waste Black Tusk's resources and have them make it when they could be making the next actual Gears. They might've been involved the same way 343 industries was involved in MCC but they'ee not going to be the primary work force. Halo MCC had 5 studios working on it lol

So my take is that Black Tusk isn't involved at all and its not gonna be called Marcus Phoenix Collection (obviously) :p

I pray for it to come.

I think they will do 1-3 collection.

Question though, what changes/improvement or additions would you like to see? Maybe be able to play all the characters from 3 in the first two?

Also, anyone play Gears 3 in 3D? It looked amazing when I sampled it, but I have no 3D TV? :(
