86-90. 90+ would be good though.

Either 89 or 90. Seems like it will score very well since Miyazaki-San and his staff have done very well to improve on the core aspects on the previous Souls gamea while adding new features. I personally do not see why BloodBourne becomes the exception and obtains a lower score.

87 and the trend of games getting criticized for things unrelated to the actual game will continue.

Also, Gamespot 6/10. Because HEY LOOK AT ME.

Ok so lets be real here, anything sub 92 will be sad. Why?? Because somehow Dark Souls II the least popular in the series has the highest score of the series with a 91. Demon's and Dark Souls both only scored an 89.

I did.  Have you played the game?  Speed has nothing to do with whether or not it is an RPG.  Everything I said is still there.

I've played the Dark Soul's series and Demon's Souls. It is not only speed. Shields are missing, magic is missing, and additionally you have your weapons change mid-combat. It is obvious that this game is more of an Action game and less of an RPG (although still an Action RPG) You have less specialization before combat, and more versatility within combat. Classes are much less useful, seemingly. From the videos I've watched, all characters play similarly.

Seriously, here are the classes:

Standard Hunter - Saw Cleaver + Blunderbuss

Heavy Hunter - Hunter's Axe + Pistol

Sword & Heavy Attack Hunter - Kirkhammer + Blunderbuss

Agile Hunter - Warped Twinblades + Pistol.

In the soul's games you have ten classes, and magic ones are included. All classes played very differently, while here you have classes sharing the same secondary weapon type, of which there are two.

No link? Hmm. I'll take this as unconfirmed then. I think that they will have starting classes like in the other games (doesn't matter how many) but that mainly determined starting gear and stats. You weren't locked into a class. There's most likely an abundance of weapons/gear in the game. I don't see how you think there's less rpg elements in the game when there's no full info on it.

What loss?

You level up how you want to, and you create your own character from scratch.

See previous reply.

But that explains how they made the combat more action oriented. You're aware that RPG isn't a combat system. It'll be an action RPG just like Demon's Souls and Dark Souls were. This will just require more skill.

Which is exactly why it'll get low scores.

Upon looking back over the scores of From's previous games, I've bumped my estimate from 90 up to 91.

87!
