Ummm no because my argument stands while yours was proven wrong.  Sorry but scoring "well" doesn't come into play because none of them have done this "well" and it's coming out during a gen that is scored much harsher.  Even not factoring that in though it has an aggregate score 2 higher than the highest scoring game in the series.  Even if we're going from 61 to 63 that's still higher sorry.

But you are comparing the final tally of the first three games. Not all reviews have come out for Bloodborne, the score can still go either way before it settles in. I dont know about Demon Souls or the first Dark Souls, but I do remember DS 2 having a 94 at some point before it went down.

The game looks great I can't wait. On second thought, I think I'll pick up DS2 first.

Good thing we had posters tell us how disappointing this gen was. Though to be fair, there was a post that defined the word "disappointing" as something that doesn't reflect on the quality of the games, rather their public perception, which makes the argument somewhat pointless and inappropriate in this thread. It's a good thing overall. Inappropriate, pointless but good. Made us put things into perspective.

This game is so excellent, that it makes an 8/10 review look like a clickbait.
10 more minutes.....

its not click bait. They use an idiotic 5 point scale (without .5 increments)  so basically its a 100 or an 80 or a 60...... Terrible system. If if they thought the game was a 9 they were forced to pick 100 or 80.... so basically all games get a 8 unless it is a CLEAR 90+ (what would be a 95 on a 20 point scale)

Bu...B-But...I thought there was a conspiracy against Sony?

:P

I saw this coming. Souls games score well. Never bought into the whole "anti-Sony" conspiracy people kept talking about.

No souls game has scored this high before.  So throw that argument out the window.  Not saying conspiracy but certain games there was a vendetta before release

Demon's Souls scored an 89, Dark Souls 89, Dark Souls II 91.  Thos are high scores.  I never said "every souls game has scored the exact same score as Bloodborne."  So throw your argument out the window.

The real issue brought out in recent months is that people need to understand that liking a game does not make it worthy of a high score.  That's how it is in every single solitary artistic and entertainment medium on the face of the earth.

Since when is 2 points a massive leap?  And I said that the games score well.  That this is the best scoring one means nothing.  Unless you are trying to say that 89 and 91 are bad scores.  Just in case you miss it again, I highlighted my actual words.  So no, sorry, but scoring well very much comes into play as that is exactly what I said and exactly what you tried to deny and is exactly what the reality is.

Nice, candidate for Goty. Now sales needs to meet expectations as well

Just to add, that site that gave a 4/5 to BB also gave a 4/5 to BF Hardline.... LOLOLOLOLOLOL. They need to dump that 5 point scale like yesterday. It very possible on a 100 point scale they would have given BF HL a 71 and BB an 88 or 89.... such fail.

He's right though. There was definitely a vendetta against ryse before its release ;)

On a side note is there any dlc planned for this game? Or can I go out and buy it now instead of waiting for the gotye like I usually do.

kind of hard to tell, Demons Souls (the only Souls game made by FROM/SCEJ had no DLC, and thats the same team that made Bloodborne) but at the same time DaS 1 had 1 dlc package and DaS2 had like 4 or more DLCs so who knows... i personally dont have a problem with DLC since i will want more of this game, but i totally understand your resoning since i did the same with TLOU, i just waited for the GOTY edition wich was basically the PS4 version.

Yeah I did the same with tlou as it was pretty obvious it was going to happen. I like dlc I just like having it on disc. I also like being able to play through a game and it's dlc in one block as I'll often be in the middle of other things by the time dlc comes out normally and forget about it.

Gametrailers review is in (not on meta yet)

96/100 BOOOOM.

GT, GS and IGN are the 3 site I also look up. No way IGN give it less than 9.5... I mean the game has a 93 based on singleplayer alone.

1 min left on day one update then I go live!

Yeah!! looks like this now on my list of games thst I need once I buy a PS4!!

I honestly had no idea this game was so huge. The tv commercials the last few weeks gave me a generic feel to it.
