One thing I'm curious about. If we do the free upgrade, does that mean we have a fully copy of Windows 10, or do we just have the "upgrade" copy? I had a full copy of XP, with upgrade copies of Windows 7 and 8. But somewhere along the way, I lost my copy of XP. So now I have two upgrade OSs but no full OS in case I need to start from scratch again. Would be nice if I could just install Windows 10 from scratch without having to worry about keeping prior versions around.

Can't wait to try Holo lens (big fan of AR) and see how DX performs, the free upgrade for a year is probably the ebst thing I've seen from them in terms of computer software.

Here's to a good looking and hopefully successful OS.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

You can either do a clean install or just a regular one. Since I have windows 8.1, I'll just do a normal upgrade path.

I'm so pumped for Windows 10. The fact that it's a free upgrade is so fantastic.

Yes, but as it works right now, you need to have an OS already on it before you can do a clean install. Technically, you can "upgrade" from any version of windows.  But it still needs to be there first.  Therefore, you will always need that serial number handy in case you get a completely new hard drive and/or computer.  I hope Windows 10 breaks that cycle.

Just let me download an ISO so I can boot from it and install the OS.  No prior versions required.

In the preview version, you can either install from a download file or and iso so I'm guessing the same will be true for the finished version.

We're getting responses, though I'd like more! Could we push it just a bit :D.
