minecraft will soon be vita's biggest game

Will be one of the last if not the last million seller it has.

FInal Fantasy X / X2 Remaster, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Persona 4: Golden, Killzone: Mercenary and Tearaway will do 1 million. And maybe Borderlands 2, Freedom Wars, SaGa 2015 and God Eater 2: Rage Burst some day too?

There hasn't been any million seller on Vita, I think.

By the way, is very plausible Minecraft Vita being the Vita's biggest game, but only if we count digital and physical sales.

There's like 5 million sellers on it and it'll get 2 or 3 more if you include digital.

Do I need to remind you that we are on a Japan Sales thread?.

In Japan, afaik hasn't been any milion seller.

The biggest games are P4G, Freedom Wars and God Eater, and if I'm not mistaken, neither of them has cross the 500k mark.

Japan sales contribute to worlwide sales. You'd have a point if they were talking about US sales only in this thread.

I already had this discusion last week.   MC: PS4 - (3DS+N3DS)= 33753-33950= -197 (0.5%, so below MC accuracy --> irrelevant)

Famitsu:  PS4 - (3DS+N3DS)= 32.946 - 28.450= 4.496 ---> PS4 win. even if MC is better tracker it absolutely doesn't testify that all their tracking are better than famitsu's. Famitsu is even able to track digital sales so....

Media Create and Famitsu need to start to agree a little more. The problem is not weekly, but 2015 Total Sales.

Media Create (YTD):

3DS - 561.583

PS4 - 286.593

Famitsu (YTD):

3DS - 589.707

PS4 - 257.154

Famitsu tracked a lot of 3DS the firsts weeks of 2015. My theory is that now is fixing its numbers.

And one of the trackers should fix PS4 numbers (less for MC or more for Famitsu).

As I said a lot of times, every person should pick a tracker, but stick with it and avoid shifting when numbers look better on the other. (I'm talking in general, not refering to you)

Digimon on Famitsu is very low too. Dengeki and MC have the game +70k.

Also, note that Famitsu digital sales are estimates.

Ooh the difference is quite huge.

you know I go with VGC approach like, the number to be considere are Number= (MC + FAM)/2 or Number= (MC*2 + FAM)/4 and I think it is the right choice imo since perfect trackers doesn't exist :D

No need to remind me anything.  Japan sales contribute to games hitting a million.

how quick did the yakuza drop PS2 and go PS3 exclusive?

Series never went cross-gen like it did this generation, but it also took a lot longer to launch on the console and didn't go cross-gen with the first entry when it could have done.

PS3 launch - November 2006

Yakuza 2 (PS2-only) - December 2006 (mainline entry)

Yakuza Kenzan (PS3-only) - March 2008 (spin-off)

Yakuza 3 (PS3-only) - February 2009 (mainline entry)

Compared to

PS4 launch - February 2014

Yakuza Ishin (PS3/PS4) - February 2014 (spin-off)

Yakuza 0 (PS3/PS4) - March 2015 (mainline prequel)

Interesting, thanks! So they ditched PS2 under 1.5 years into PS3's life. Hopefully, Yakuza 6 is a xmas 2016 and is ps4 exclusive.

hoggin' all the action, I see...
