There's a good reason why they're dead.


Nintendo would revive them tho.

I mean make the characters appear in smash etc. (like Megaman in Smash4) and then release a game with them.
Nintendo needs more IPs like smash.
Smash Soccer
Smash Racing
etc

Because its basically free advertising for their other IP.

A friend of mine always said "Im going to play the robot" when chosing Samus in Smash64  and now the Metroid franchise is one of his favorite gaming franchises. Smash introduced him to Metroid.

That's fine! I don't mind people liking Monster Hunter, but for my personal taste, it is the biggest mistake in Capcom's family :(

I'm not too aware of capcom IPs outside of Megaman and it completely baffles that they don't bother with that franchise considering it'd cost a fraction of one of their regular AAA flops
