Isn't NX a handheld/mobile, and not a console??

Can we talk about OP's English for a second???
I understand it's a difficult language to learn, but jeez...

Wow... Do you do a lot of communicating with a second language?

Да...

Have a nice day...

Can we lock this ridiculous thread already?
OP has failed to provide a shred of evidence to substantiate his claims, and frankly his motivation is obvious.

let them speculate... I don't think he's trying to pass it as a credible rumour anyway.

Laziest rumour in a while...

There are no rumors, only people making assumptions because they did it that one time

maybe.
2017 is the most probable launch year of NX.
2 year old games ports wont be very well received.
But most missed the wii U and would want to play zelda and xenoblade. as it probably wont have backwards compatibility, people would like to play great those games.
But i wouldnt bet.

The same reasons on why most people are buying remakes this gen. Only about 10 million own the Wii U. That would mean quite a bit of people would not have played either game.

Most remakes this generation are for games released 10-20 years ago. If the Wii U's successor sells so vastly more than the Wii U, it is probably not because of people who are interested in these games. It's not like these titles will be limited releases like the original Xenoblade.

I was more talking about TLOU Remastered, or DmC and Tomb Raider Definitive Version. That said, I do not think they will be... At all. Those games will be released this year, and a new Zelda and Xeno will release with the new console.

By "with" I hope you're not expecting them as launch titles. XCX and Zelda U were in the oven for what, 4 years? They're not going to have their sequels ready by 2017.

Good god.

People really do this every time, don't they?

Nintendo announces partnership/licensing deal with some mobile games company, suddenly people think "Nintendo's going mobile!"

Nintendo announced that (duh, as ALWAYS) they are, in fact, developing another new NEXT gen console. And some people automatically assume "IT'LL BE OUT IN 2016, WII U is DONE!"

Neither are the case. And no, Xenoblade and Zelda are both about DONE in development for Wii U. Iwata and Miyamoto and Reggie has stated repeatedly that they're sticking by Wii U (and 3DS). It doesn't make sense for them to launch a new console before 2017. New systems take time to develop, and so do games for those new systems.

So people need to slow that roll. Zelda "U" is Zelda "U" for a reason. It's a Wii U game. It'll be out this fall/holidays. Pretty much end of story.

Not at all, nor do I think they should be. I would want those games built from the ground up with whatever hardware innovations they introduce in mind.
