Yeah, it is still a bit soon though.

Was thinking of getting a New 3DS, might be better to wait and see what comes of the NX instead. Especially with Nintendo's fondness of backwards compatibility.

Bringing it out later this year would have been a real slap in the face though.

Nintendo Fusion, android based home console that can connect with smart devices. Certainly a brand new concept. Get hyped.

Not really, as this might be a different kind of hardware not as much related to games and more related to this QOL thing Nintendo is going on about. Well, it could still be a new gaming device, who knows.

Confirmed NX is a video game related device, not QOL?

Nintendo just confirmed what I was saying, the membership program works on multiple devices and pushes you to use their handheld.

So this is now almost certainly there next handheld right? I'd like it to be a home console just for the meltdowns though.

Maybe it's both; the "Fusion" concept that's been theorized for ages.
