I think you can change your prediction to "Can PS4 sell 500k in March (US)?"

That would make for some interesting signature bets for sure.

Now that you have previously mentioned the 5 week period, I am changing mine. PS4 should hit upward towards ~435K in March.

I guess...

Feb: 343k / 4 =  ~85k per week

Mar: 85k * 5 = 420k

And I think Bloodborne >>>> The Order... so I guess it will sell ~450k and I won't be surprise if BB sells 500k PS4s.

You most likely are correct. Rolling off of an impressive 2013 December into a bevy of great titles in January of 2014, I believe it did sell less. inFAMOUS: Second Son and MLB: The Show 14 did only so much. With a better supplied end to top off March and support from an online retailer to boot, PS4 should go up YoY.

I think MLB 14 came out in May for PS4, they delayed it to make sure it was feature complete first year (unlike other sports games).

So thats another advantage PS4 has this year compared to 2014, although its only out for one day of March.

hoggin' all the action, I see...

That actually is a much better way than what I was attempting for estimation. Either way, it will be over 400K with the 5 week period, but can it reach 500K?

.... Oh yeah... I forgot said game was delayed. Well, either way, more ammunition for Sony to use.

Edit: Didn't realize March was 5 weeks, in which case, PS4 ~450k.

Worldwide numbers should be pleasant too.

I concur. Battlefield: Hardline can only go so far. Even with the MCC bundle rolling out, stopping the PS4 momentum isn't a guarantee at this point.

I think last year the PS4 sold less in March than it did in January, but it didn't have Bloodborne, MLB:TS and FF TypeO, and it didn't have 3 free games with the basic bundle either.

how many weeks is march? either way i think 400K is a bit high. hopefully it can stay flat or be a bit higher than feb, which was a huge month for PS4
