Which One should I get?

I'm thinking about getting a 3DS for playing Omega Ruby and Majoras Mask 3D. Possibly ocarina of time 3D and pokemon Y.

3DS XL Pros:

- Much cheaper, 160 dollars new, 100 dollars used

3DS Cons:

-not the most modern version of the 3DS

New3DS XL Pros:

-More buttons, longer battery life, looks nicer

-c-stick helps with majoras mask

-better 3D but I don't really care

-some exclusive games but not enough for me to care

-looks nicer

New 3DS Cons:

-Very expensive 200 dollars + tax not including the 40 dollar games

-c-stick doesn't work all that great from what i'v heard

I can't decide! I think I might wait until the price of the New3DS goes down to about 150-160 dollars...

Since this is a first buy(assuming) for you, then go with the N3DSXL, it does whatever the old 3DSXL does and has a slightly better internals plus 2nd stick.

id get new, because i like the 3D effect.
also, for xenoblade. the only known game for new 3ds is xenoblade, that is the best jrpg of last gen. ive already played on wii, so i wouldnt buy a new console for playing it again. but if i didnt, i would get the new 3ds for playing it.
and you should play zelda a link between worlds.

C stick works excellent for me and makes a huge difference in MM3D and MH4.
I'd get the N3DS XL! It's much better than the original model!

I tried the C-Stick w/ Majora's Mask at a Gamestop, and it works flawlessly.

Look for a preowned New 3DS XL if cost is the biggest con.

If you can spare the cash, buy the New 3ds XL. It improves greatly from the original XL and is worth the extra money imo.

N3DS, c-stick wins this and the 3D does make the games look better. 2D on 3DS looks like shit to me.

Get the New 3DS XL. It's so much better in every possible aspect.

I would say New 3DS, the improvements are worth the extra cash plus who knows, maybe there will be a N3DS exclusive announced in the future that is a must have for u.
