18.2 mill.... and still selling about 175k a week retail. With digital being much bigger this gen the sales will seem smaller on this site. I usually assume a 15-20% digital rate (which I think is on the conservative side) so I feel safe to say its all ready at 20-21 million and selling around 200k a week.
At the "peak" of the franchise CoD was selling 30 million (MW3 and BO1, and back in 2010 and 2011 digital was still in the infant stage, did they even have a digital version of these games?)
Based on its current tragectory AW will sell over 25 million with no issues (it could even reach that by the end of the year) and could hit 30 million including digital before all is said and done. COD Ghost current stands at 25 million factoring digital it is probably over 28 million).
So is call of duty as big as it was? It is appears it is pretty close to the same. And CoD 2015 will have the advantage of launching on an 8 GEN userbase of close to 50 million(userbase definity will reach that during CoD 2015's holiday season).
