If you could chose 3 games, from any franchise, that you would like to see on one of the three home consoles, what would they be? And why? 3 games per platform of choice.

Anything goes, no limits when it comes to this thread, and the games can also be presented the way you would like them to play.

I like these types of threads :)

Wii U:

  • Metroid -- it's been five years since the last home console Metroid game. It's a shame to waste one of the best series in the industry.
  • F-Zero -- Nintendo's futuristic racer deserves a renaissance, especially after cameos in Nintendo Land and Mario Kart 8.
  • Excitebike -- this lesser Nintendo franchise has produced several gems, including one of the best motocross games ever made.
PS4:
  • The Last Guardian -- it's been a decade since Team Ico released Shadow of the Colossus. A spiritual successor, promised long ago, would be great.
  • Wipeout -- after Sony shuttered Liverpool, this seems unlikely. But a man can dream.
  • Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance III -- the first two game in the sub-series are two of the best action RPGs of the sixth generation. A third game was planned, but eventually cancelled.
Xbox One:
  • Psychonauts 2 -- the best 3D platformer not made by Rare or Nintendo, the wickedly clever Psychonauts deserves a sequel.
  • Star Wars: Republic Commando 2 -- this oft overlooked tactical shooter found a home on Xbox in 2005. Its sequel could do the same on Xbox One, even if LucasArts is a shell of its former self.
  • Banjo-Threeie -- whether Rare is up to the challenge is a matter of debate, but a proper platforming sequel to Banjo-Tooie, expertly made, would move mountains.

WiiU - Super Mario 64 HD, Mario Party Collection (that mashes 2+3+6 together with all minigames and boards.), Paper Mario (original style, without that platforming or sticker nonsense.)

PS4 - Crash Team Racing HD (1-3 and bash wouldn't go a miss either), Fully 3d LBP with decent platforming, Wipeout 2049

XBO - Blinx 3, Conker 2, Phantom Crash 2

edit: WTF Phantom Crash got a sequel exclusive to ps2??? It only got a meta of 66 but then again the original only got a meta of 74..... I'll probably hate it now though, haven't played Phantom Crash in about 12 years so i'd probably hate that too.

PS4 - Spyro, Resistance (I still have hope for a return to form), and...hmmmm can't think of much else. Not familiar with Sony's full IP library.

Xbone - uhm. Yeah, got nothing so three new big IPs :P

Wii U - Metroid (Prime style), F-Zero, and either a console Bravely game or Super Mario Galaxy 3 (both would interest me and have different benefits for the platform).
