It is a flop because resources could've been spent much more wisely.

Making a console game only playable on the gamepad was a retarded move. So was making a sequel to one of the worst selling Kirby games.

Yeah... but its not a flop. Especially when it just started. Stop with the wasted resources argument. Metroid is a wasted resource too when they could be making more mario games.

Except Metroid would've never sold this shitty. Nintendo can only release so many Mario games before it starts hurting the franchise.

Metroid would bring a new crowd to the Wii U, Kirby doesn't. Everyone who likes platformers already has a Wii U.

But again, this didn't cost nowhere near as much as a metroid would. Thats my point as well. And calling it shitty is 100% early as its a game that is most likely sold 150k+ so far to retailers without holidays+Europe/etc yet. The game will hit over 300k lifetime, calm down. 

And stop acting as if Metroid is savior of money making. I love Metroid and all but kirby racks in Wayyyy more money than Metroid easily.

Even this quote on quote shitty sales probably done better in profits than a few Metroids. (coming from the worst selling Kirby too,thats a spin off)
