I agree about the like system. It might also cut down the useless posts where people just agree with another.

I thought this was going to be a per post rating system, i.e. rate the post 1 to 5 stars and show the average. I like that even better than a simple like button. Otherwise I agree with the majority of posters here that the points under someones name is a good enough indicator of how seasoned / active a user has been. My 2 cents.

Nah. What would be cool though is a reputation system of some sorts.
I'm pretty sure that I'd rather a good poster with a low post count get cold rather a spammer :P

Because we don't get people that spam a lot already without incentive
