oh god, pls no. That bubble system is the worst xD

I understand how it may not work as well for threads, especially ones where posts can be edited, but why don't you like it there?

It limits discussion and it's easily abused.

There's been multiple times I couldn't even respond to people because I ran out of bubbles, also I've had bubbles taken away from me for simply stating an upopular opinion. It puts a lot of power in the hands of the community, everyone is basically a mod, even the most corrupt.

I've never felt that the spammers made VGC "what it is today"...other than when it is filled with spam. So I'd definitely not like to see a system in place that rewards or encourages that kind of behavior. Quality posts and quality threads are where it's at. Certainly, hanging around the forum long enough makes it pretty obvious who those posters are, without the need for a bit of macaroni in their cap.

I demand my gold star!

Brilliant idea!

Why am I not surprised that you said this?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Doesn't IGN have something similar to that?

What's with the users that should be awarded for not posting?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Sounds good..though I dont like the fact that I wouldn't even have a gold star yet D:

A feature I'd rather is a like button on all posts where you could see who likes it. Get on it trucko!

And combine it with a dislike button so that all posts with enough dislikes are automatically hidden.

Then at the end of the day the mods look at all the posts marked as hidden and decide if it's banworthy.

They'd never add a dislike system. Too much negativity and people would abuse it.

No i am against it
