It's still the best looking game I've ever played but the only "Real" 8th gen games that I've played are:

-Ryse
-Infamous Second Son/Infamous First Light
-Sunset Overdrive
-Dead Rising 3
-Titanfall

Everything else has been cross gen. When I get The Order this week, I expect a new graphics king (don't like me mentioning the competiton? IDGAF!!) but as it stands, Ryse is still amazing to behold and the best showcase for Xbox One graphics released thus far.

mario kart 8 looks best this generation, but i think witcher 3 will detach it.
need to see real zelda wii u footage to say, if zelda or witcher 3 will be best looking game this year

I see alot of "Quantum Break" comments but has everyone forgot that The Witcher 3 is releasing in May?

OT: I just recently revisited Ryse. Still the best graphics on Xbox I've seen. I'll add though, for an open world game, AC: Unity is also pretty damn good.

Hmm maybe they haven't ported it yet. But I heard Shovel Knight was ported in 1 day so it could be any day! We will have to see if and when Apple, Pixar, and Mojang can strike a deal to bring this to the Amazon xbox one.

I recently played Assassin's Creed 4 and Shadow of Mordor. They both have their great moments - out to see on your pirate ship and watching the rain bead and wash off the boards, with the waves and the sunsets. And Shadow - I love being up high and looking at the crazy dog things far away chasing the Orcs. It's breathtaking.

But Ryse is at another level. Sometimes it looks like a well crafted oil painting - almost better than life - not completely realistic, but more lavish. I still think it has the best graphics of any game I have played.

Watching the catapult fire from a mile away is stunning. The armor, the carved stone, the mini light sources and textures are all done well. The trees, well, look like real trees.

And to think they did all that on an early SDK and without DX 12. Quite impressive.

PS The 'shakey cam' though does getting annoying on Ryse and SOM.  It's overused IMO.

Is it me or are there are more PS4/Wii U games mentioned in this thread than Xbox One games...
