The PS4 does too though imo. The PS4 already has 450 games out or in develeopment. That is unheard of for a console less than 18 months old. I already have 70+ games on my PS4. So many great F2D/F2P, PS+ Games too.


That's the Vita line-up in the US, EU, Japan, Latin America, Asia and anywhere in the world, except China. The launch line-up in China is abysmal for PS4 and bad to decent for Vita (since it got FF and Toukiden at least).

Unless more games are coming to both, China will keep buying consoles in the gray market. Unless PS4 and Vita are region free there, so they can buy official consoles and only games on the gray market. However, I'm doubtful that this is the case. That delay seemed suspicious and I really tought they would just add the lock to follow some crazy order from the Chinese government.


Have to agree with this.  Maybe sony have a steady stream of titles releasing.  If not they probably want to get the launch sales and then get the fuck out

After being delayed from its previously planned January 11 release date, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia has dated PlayStation 4 and PS Vita for launch in China on March 20.  

PlayStation 4 will be available for 2,899 RMB and PS Vita for 1,299 RMB.

A very lean list of titles, guess the censors had a lot of work to do.
No mention of region locking (or unlocking).

By the way: what are the next games in china for ps4 ?

its so sad, no "yakuza zero" or "metal gear solid ground zeroes" ? i hope for "disgaea 5", the biggest rpg-strategie game. maybe china give the game amazing sales.

and what is with "bloodborne" and "persona 5" ? can they released in japan ?

I know man. What I meant is the line for the Chinese launch. I guess we have to wait and see what other games will be release there. Chinese censorship are strict, even more strict than here in the middle east!!!

Are those the only launch games? After all, it does say "launch titles include".

But does every individual indie etc. have to be approved by the government?

For the Chinese market we have no idea what will and won't be released, so unfortunately many of the games mention may mean nill.

Also for Sonys sake I hope they don't bother with Soul Sacrifice 2, the IP didn't catch on the way they wanted and there are more successful  battle arena games on Vita like Freedom Wars, God Eater and Toukiden. Better they make something else and diversify their portfolio on the system as oppose to continuing the satuation of that genre of game.

I don't know how good God Eater is, but Toukiden and Freedom Wars are never better than Soul Sacrifice. 
Soul Sacrifice is an awesome game and one of the best Vita games imo! Deserves a successor!

Well I'm talking commercially. Although SS is my favourite gameplay wise, I'd much rather see sony do something else unless they expand the gameplay into an actual action/adventure RPG (Bloodborne, Dragon Age) and not just a collection of boss fights.
