If the price can allow it (And it may since 500gb is so commonly produced), I agree.  However I would put price above all else.  If someone wants the premium version they can pay more.

Only time can tell. I found today an almost new Ps2 for 2 euro (albeit second hand, but hey) and almost felt like taking it with me.

There are some 120 GB Ps3 under 100 euros where I live, but they're all mostly second hand as well. While I do trust used games, for some reason I've never liked used console much, like you risk purchasing a faulty one (then you waste all the money, no refunds).

That being said, there's an Invizimalzs bundle for 120 euro, 12 GB Ps3 Slim. A price cut would certainly put it at 100, if not below! :)

It will get one but it doesn't matter now unless it falls below $100. 

Maybe at this years E3.

It would only be of some significant degree if it's priced at $149.

Yeah like you said, 2nd hand. I could find superb used ps3s for 100 euro years ago too :)

Where did you find that bundle so cheap tho? 12gb isnt really worth it however, maybe you can put 2-3 games on there, which isn't half as annoying as the install times on ps3 that can take +15min so swapping isn't an option like the ps4 where it usually takes less than a minute.

A significant cut could give a little boost in America, Europe and Japan, but it could give a bigger one in newer markets.
