With a girl in just one room being rendered. Wonder what a full scale game would look like.

Rather, I wonder what a full scale game would look like with a more polished SDK and time.

I agree. It may have the potential to create some mindblowing games, but none we have seen so far look all that great. And I'm figuring we are going to be getting far to much of the low to medium budget minigame experience, and not nearly enough of the full game well made visuals.

Was this one supposed to be that much better? still looks PS2.5. noticable aliasing, basic geometry, flat lighting. It all still looks like an early Wii game. What gen would you say this looks?

Funny how features like these are ignored when it comes to wiiu games, isnt it?

Are you saying you believe this
*morpheus early demo shots*

and these
*Retail release Wiiu game and WiiU game thats been in development for many years*

Are anywhere near the same level.

*Points out exact same issues brought up in quote 1 as proof of the game being low quality, present in FFV, a retail WiiU game referenced in quote 3*

So again, I will quote myself.

Guess who completely ignored the exact same issues present in FFV?

I'm so done here.

What I really want to know is why does everything Sony seem to draw so much negativity from a very bike and loud subset of people? This happens with literally everything Sony related. Morpheus is not even out yet, it seems Sony is putting a lit of thought and effort into it, and what's more, what mist seem to forget is that Sony is actually a hardware company at its heart, if anyone can find a way to make VR work for consoles its them.

I mean I'm all for objective criticism, but now we are saying that Morpheus demos so far like like PS2 games? Damn......

Cherry picking much?, as I stated, clearly, Summer Lessons looks that way on purpose.

Also, lets do something else too.

I'm so done here.

But you can admit they are not of the same visual quality. I'm done here too.

They are the same QUALITY, they are different ARTSTYLES.

You have issues man, if you need your preferences validating that much, you probably shouldnt be in the PlayStation section talking smack.

Seems to me you were the one getting defensive, but whatever.

That was literally the first thing I thought of when Sony said that the thing would play 1080p 120fps games. Unless the games look like PSX era games, that's not happening with the PS4's tech.

Except that all of their demos are already running at 1080p 60fps in 3D. Some of them even running in native 1080p 120fps and they don't look like games from yesteryears; they look like current gen games. What that developer said was right though, games that are to be VR ready need to be exclusive just for that accessory for them to work perfectly. Current games that are not made for VR but looks like it would play well in VR(FP games) will need a lot of time before they become playable in that format. I'm sure Sony will have a fix for this. They would be wise not to waste all of the success of the Ps4 into making an expensive accessory that they do not intend to fully support.
