I would love for to do so, but Destiny is a bigger release and being earlier in the life cycle made it a bigger hopping on point for adopters.

That is how I love VGC.

PS3 shipment for Jan-Mar 2008 was 2.33m.

It should do pretty well. As well as the Destiny bundle I'm not sure, but pretty well regardless.

MGS4 moved 312,807 PS3s at high price in 2008.


mgs4 was an exclusive though.. so i don't know. i would love for this to top destiny's launch


The special edition console is exclusive to the Ps4, I think so if there is an MGS fan who does not have a Ps4, this will probably push them to buy one and most MGS fans will be buying the Ps4 version most likely as well, specially in Japan where little to no-one will give the Xbox one any attention. The only question is, will this be made available outside Japan? I don't think they have announced it anywhere else.

The pic released says SCE so I guess so... when it is only Japan they use SCEJ.

It's not just the bundle. Even though The Phantom Pain is multiplatform it will push a lot of PS4s pretty much like FF was/is
