Hey guys.

I like this site alot but why dont we have a live chat?

You know a small window with like 20 comments per "page" where you can see number of users online and you can use your vgchartz account to talk to others in real time?

Would be a neat little extra and would help keep the site clean because less important things dont need their own thread but can be discussed in the chat.

And while you are at it why not have several "channels"?  Like "sales" "game discussion" "hardware" "bargains/deals" or whatever.

What do you think about that?

And sry if this has been asked before  could not find anything.

itd be nice if we had an irc tbh

it's been brought up many times but nothing ever comes of it, and i suspect staff would rather keep the traffic and conversations happening here, where revenue is generated anyway.

VGC isnt that big of a website. Adding chat could hurt the website more than help it considering that most activity on VGC comes from a small group of users

VGChartz used to have something like that a long while ago if I'm not mistaken!

Better yet, let's get a community thread.

We have Skype chats (I'm in several of these) but as for something actually part of the site, there isn't one. Maybe one day.

Use to have it but nobody used it...

There isn't any, because the mods won't get out of Skype.

There used to be the VGC IM but only dsister and euphoria used it :p
