So, Nintendo's next handheld comes out. The base price is $300. What is under the hood doesn't matter as they would be the same across the board. Take that into consideration when answering these questions.

Which would you rather have?

1) 480p screen, same box shape as DS, 3DS before it.

2) 720p screen, but for $350.

3) 480p screen, but it uses the free form glass. Costs $325

4) 720p free form glass, at the price of $375

Changed the poll! Answer accordingly.

Jesus Christ! I think the handheld will sell super low if its anything over $200 so I hope its $200 or less

But if its $300, it better be 720p, no exceptions... Phones have 1440p now a days and going to 4k so for $300 in 2017, it better be 720p minimum. Heck, the OnePlus One is 1080p and it costs $350 which came out last year and so does the Nexus 5 which came out the year before that. And both of those have no contract too

But I would rather have the first option cause I think the DS is what sets Nintendo apart from all the other devices out there and I think they have done a good job with it so far. But honestly, for $300, 720p DS and it better have rape specs

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I don't want any of that. Way too expensive.

I was just going off of the 3DS when it first launched. Granted it was quickly reduced to $250, but that is not what it released at.

Well, thats cause the glass-free 3d tech was soo new to the market which probably brought the price up at launch but a 720p res isn't really anything new so I doubt that if they go with 720p or 480p, it would bring the price up at all, specially in this day and age

Well, just posing a question to see if people would be willing to shell out the extra cash if it DID happen to make the cost of the new handheld to go up. Especially if we are talking about people wanting to use free form glass. That would be a pretty new tech (at least not common place) that would more than likely drive costs up.

Will it ship with 70% of the menu options giving you a "feature not available" screen, like the 3DS did?

Mhmm well imo, I think it would be better if u re-did it just with $200 (and $225/$250) instead of $300 cause then, I think it would make more sense

Hell, they can even promise Mega Man Legends 3 as a bonus. Then blame us for not being interested.

anything less than a 4K screen will be unacceptable
