Since there have been threads for Wii/GC/PS2 emulators showing off games in HD, I decided I'd post a thread for Nintendo DS games using a special version of th DeSMuMe emulator that allows them to be rendered at higher resolutions (instead of magnified like other emulators.) The games are at 1024*768 (highest option) with 4xAA 16xAF.

I'll probably post one game per post, and compare them with screen shots of the game on DS.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I'll take screens at the native resolution and then the 4x resolution with AA. :) Okamiden is next! It is quite impressive. :)

So the emulator upscales the resolution of the rom? Didn't know that was possible, but it looks really nice! I assume the frame rate remains the same..?

Actually it renders it at the new resolution. Some people have complaints about framerate, even with some pretty good cpus, but the framerate is full speed on my Pentium G3258(4.4 ghz currently) R9 280x build. So no problems there. I was playing DQIX on it the other day with no slow downs.
