This ever increasing number certainly is going to continue to make it more expensive for Microsoft for example at E3 to get third parties to be on their stage and to have third party exclusives.

This isn't monopolized. The PS4 won't have close to as much marketshare as the PS2 had. Besides, the 6th gen is a lot of people's favourite gen

Gen 6 is the winner for the console gen elimination game so judging by that the bigger the monopoly the better!  I dont see him complaining about the 3DS dominating vita

I wonder how high PS Plus subs can go? They were at 10.9 million as of January 5th.

That's an interesting question. With more years of PS4 life down the line, and with many blockbuster games incoming, there's a great chance for the number to double or triple a few years from now.

Indeed. Hopefully numbers will be released for the final fiscal quarter as the latest update. I also can imagine either a doubling or tripling of subscriptions within a few years as well.
