So, I recently read some stuff about this game that is obviously just spectulation, but it made me think of something

Do you think that this crossover game has the potential to be one of the best crossovers of all time? Maybe even one of the best RPGs? I mean both Atlus and Intelligent systems are amazing companies who always deliver good stories in their games. FIre Emblem gameplay will probably be likely, meaning the gameplay would be good.

I don't know, I don't want it to seem like I'm reaching but I personally think SMT x FE has the potential if done correctly to be one of the best games of the 8th gen. What do you think?

It might be, and maybe thats why its refusing to come out cause it might set the world on fire

We haven't seen a single thing about this game other than a teaser with characters on the screen...

I enjoy both series individually, but I don't see how a reasonable AND interesting plot can come from merging them. Especially if the characters in the game are a variety of characters from both series.

I would buy it, could be a good crossover.

Well that's why I said if done correctly. I feel like if anyone can pull it off, it is Atlus and Intelligent Systems/Nintendo. I know we haven't seen aa single thing about this game, but that is why I am saying if it has POTENTIAL. Which isn't based off of trailers of the game. (it can be, but obviously in this case it isn't)

Maybe I just have a pessimistic view of cross-over games. They can be decent or even good games, but something like , "maybe even one of the best RPGs?" and " one of the best games of the 8th gen" just doesn't seem possible to me and in my opinion is going to lead to dissapointment. I think if we expect something decent or good we'll be happy, but if we expect one of the best RPG's of the 8th generation, we will likely be dissapointed with the result. The only way I can see the game being "one of the best games of the 8th generation" is if it is a thematic crossover (now specific characters and neither series is overly dominant.) Now if we had a trailer that made us excited for a reason, that would be a whole different story. 

Only if it has SMT gameplay.

i dont think this game even exists anymore tbh
