1) 3,810,000 (Wii, December 2009)

Nintendo sold more Wii in December 2009 in the US, than they sold WiiU worldwide in 2014. (3.67M)

GameCube have sold really well in USA.

It have also outsold console like PS3, XB360, and other during first's month.

Even the LT sales was great, 12,000,000!

Also, GC record NPD is nearly 1.2 million, that is more than XBOX that have sold little more than 1.1 million in the best NPD.

In the US 12 million sales aren't great.

In 4 year is great.

This kind of highlights Wii's drop. It sold more than 2M in December 2010 but was nowhere to be seen in 2011.

I think the PS4 and likely Xbone as well will reach 2M in a single month at least once in their lifetime or come very close at ~1.8-1.9M. This year has great potential, there are much more and better games, system sellers like Halo 5, MGS5, Uncharted 4etc releasing and last but not least, the inevitable price cut to $299 or even sub 299. I think we could even see bundles with Halo 5/UC4 for $299.

If not this year, well then in 2 years in 2017 when either of the consoles reach $199-179.

yep, that was INSANE!!!! 

And is incredible like VGChartz after 5 year still undertracked the Wii by 800k this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and 800k just in the US...)
