Today 5pb. and Mages. announced the Japanese release date of the upcoming Xbox One exclusive PSYCHO-PASS Psychopaths: Mandatory Happiness, which will hit the local shelves on May 28th.

The game will come in two editions, normal for 7,800 yen plus taxes, and limited for 9,800 yen + taxes. It will be set between the first six episodes of the original TV series, but with a different focus.

The limited edition will come with an anime Blu-ray titled DIVE to PSYCHO-PASS Psychopaths Summer Premium Disk, while those who will pre-order will get the Blu-ray DIVE to PSYCHO-PASS Psychopaths Winter Premium Disk and a special Xbox One body decal themed after the Sibyl System.

The publisher also provided the box art and pictures of the bonuses, which you can see in the gallery below.

Interesting...

Holy crap, I'm interested. Glad I have an XBone. This and Scalebound are high on my list.

ARE WE GETTING THIS??
Also, that console looks beautiful

Didn't even know a game for Pyscho-pass was being made let alone it being exclusive to Xb1 in Japan. It will probably be bad and sell awful. On the bright side the decal looks awesome.

This is great. Phycho-Pass is the only anime of the last 5 years that I actually liked. Before that it was Darker Than Black.

It looks really nice, but considering its exclusive to Japan, it probably won't sell the best over there...

Yeah, I enjoyed that anime a lot as well, I only like to watch those with an adult/realistic themes, no magical teens saving the world for me, please. I don't know anything about the game, is it a VN or what?

I am always cautious of those adaptations, they are usually nowhere near the quality of the original.

Good luck to the game. It's gonna need it. I guess on the bright side of Xb one having terrible sales in Japan the only way the game will break even is if they release it in the west, which they will no doubt have to do.
