The major Japanese retailer Tsutaya just released its weekly chart for the week between February 23nd and March 1st. Tsutaya’s charts are related only to the retailer itself, but they’re considered a quite good indicator of how the general Japanese market, due to the number of Tsutaya stores across the country.

Predictably, Dragon Quest Hersoes smashes every possible competition this week, even if we’ll have to wait for Wednesday’s Media Create charts to see exactly how much it sold. The PS3 version outsold the PS4 version, and that’s also quite predictable, as PS4 users in Japan seem to prefer digital downloads.

The PS Vita version of God Eater 2: Rage Burst also holds strong, dropping only to third position after its debut at the top last week. The Order: 1886 doesn’t drop as much as I expected (western shooters normally do quite sharply in their second week, or disappear from the chart altogether), remaining in the top half of the chart with a well deserved 10th place.

I guess this is to be expected, but it's the first time I've seen this formally stated in a press release. Probably explains why PS4 hardware sales seem high for the software numbers that the Japanses charts show.

Not a bad hold for The Order either. I rather zeolously predicted 75k for this week and I'm beginning to wonder whether it could be closer than I 'really' thought.

Not really a surprise, more interested to see how this is going to boost, isn't the ps4 getting a second wave of that special edition bundle?

Is that a holland lops bunny?  I fucking love lops bunnies, so damn cute.  Seriously, I use easter as an excuse to buy a bunny every year and I'm atheist as shit; got almost a dozen of these little fuckers bouncing around.  I mean I front like a gangsta all the time but then I go home and literally have a bunny room where I snuggle with these fuzzy bastards like I'm king of the bunnies.

I already have it. It's my second favourite Warriors game, second to Gundam Warriors 3.

As expected, since Dragon Quest is really popular in Japan.

It will be interesting to see how well it does in the West though
