Forums - Gaming Discussion - For those who don't trade in your games.

How many do you actually have? What's your reason for keeping games you probably will never play again? I believe im at 95-110 games including Dreamcast, NES, Nintendo 64, Wii and Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

I would trade it to a friend but never to a game store,it's pure profit for the store and not a good deal for a gamer

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I've never been good at getting rid of stuff and it's always cool to look at your shelf and see your collection.  I probably have around 150 I believe, but I have too many that I don't really want to check, but I've never traded in a game.

They're mine, and they're not worth trading in for 5, or 6 bucks. If I decide I want to play it one day, it's there. I have about 20 disc games, and about 130 downloaded titles on my PS3 alone.

I refuse to ever trade any of them in, regardless of how bad they are. I'll just have to make sure I don't buy crap. Besides, there's internet websites that pay cash, and I'll get much more money from that than whatever gamestop will give. Hell, that's how I pay for more than half my games anyway.

I keep my games and almost never sell them back. I stupidly and tragically sold many of my N64 games to get another system, and now I miss those games that I sold, and they are expensive/rare to get back. : ( So after that, I decided never to sell them again. I do go back and play old games when I have the chance, even if it`s sparse. It`s easier to get back to games you own vs. finding the game you once played but want to play again.

They are my precious treasures. I'd rather throw them away myself than give them to someone else. Selling them is a hassle.
Also has the positive effect of removing them from the second hand market but that's not part of the reason why I'm keeping them.

I'd be interested in wether people who don't sell their games also don't buy second hand.

A good Couple of 100 games spanning from GC, PS2, Xbox, Wii, PS# and 360.

1150 plus... :)
NES, Genesis, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gba, DS, 3DS, Super NES, PSX, Sega Saturn,DreamCast, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, 360,XBO, Ninty 64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, it's crazy hw time has passed,I would never trade my games, they are memories to me,I enjoyed most of them

I've never counted but I'd say somewhere in the realm of 200.

I actually have traded some games I knew I'd never ever play again, but for the most part I don't trade in games. I always feel, even if it's a game I didn't love, that I may want to play it again.

The only time I usually trade in games is if I can get more than half the value back on it, and it's a game I either didn't like, or felt had little replay value. Uncharted 3 is an example of a game that while I enjoyed I just couldn't see myself ever going back to.

Over 100 easily. I have games for the Genesis, Game Boy, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, Xbox, DS, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3 3DS, and Wii U.
