What's the rule for the first area you pass before you get Pokeballs? Are you allowed to go back and catch one once you get some?

So basically Fire Emblem mode. Yeah I tired this before. I actually beat the Pokemon games with the crappiest Pokemon. I just used revives and full restore to deal with the limitations. Like I trained a level 100 Caterpie in Red once. The attchment and grow stuff. That doesn't happen if you constantly dump Pokemon. I pretty much didn't have none of my starters after like badge 3 or 4. There is one problem though. With the E4. If you follow this rule, you'll pretty much get killed all the time and have to toss out your high level pokemon. So you will risk getting stuck. You'll be with overall weaker Pokemon. Since you have to train all 6 evenly. Or you'll get bored grinding for way longer.

Lol, I like playing Pokemon but these challenges make it less fun for me.... too intense!

The reason why I enjoyed XY and ORAS, contrary to many people's view, is because of the OP exp share. Made it super easy to train Pokemon

Sorry, I wanted to cover that in this thread, but I thought it was long enough already. It comes from a comic called hard-mode, in which the player had a seedot that would have the face of John Locke from the show, Lost, with his famous line "I believe this is happening for a reason." A 2nd time in the comic, the Seedot now a Nuzleaf, is defeated in an explosion, bearing the face of John Locke again, saying "Master, I was wrong..." and perishes. This is where Nuzlocke comes from : )

Shoot! I forgot to add! You can start this rule after you get pokeballs, so don`t worry about the pokemon you encounter when you first start. When you get your first set of pokeballs, the challenge begins.

Nah, one rule in Nuzlocke I absolutely hate. It is the you can only catch the first blah in the new blah.

I was actually thinking about doing one for Emerald or maybe the Moe version (I was curious...). There shall be many hardships, but I hope that I may succeed. And I hope that I will have more money since I won't have to spend it on revives. ;)

Totally. I'm actually on my way to finishing a Nuzlocke in White 2, but I lost interest and have it there in case I wanna finish it. Only have succeeded once in Soul Silver. Very long ago tho.

Others have been Diamond (very easy actually, so I just got bored) Blind X (lost in the E4 with 2 Pokemon. The saddest, most epic, and best one yet) and White 1 and 2 a few times, but always failed early on.

This run in White 2 has been very good actually, my MVP is a Reuniclus, and I love him to death. Hopefully I can win
